Rock Creek Campground. Transportation provided by school bus from designated sites in Corvallis and Philomath.
A camp for all girls who have completed Grades K-11. This year's theme is Branchin' Out where we'll explore different native trees of Oregon. July 23 - 27, 2018 -- Monday - Friday
This day camp is for all girls who want to make new friends, learn new skills and have lots of fun. Girls will be in units with girls from many troops or girls new to Girl Scouting. This is not a troop camp experience.
Girl Scouts welcomes girls of all abilities. However, because Rock Creek Campground is rugged terrain, parents of girls with special needs are asked to contact the camp director prior to registration to discuss available accommodations. Girls who have completed Grades K-5 will be campers. Those completing Grade 6 will be Program Aides in Training (PAIT). Girls who have completed Grades 7-11 may apply to be a Program Aide (PA). PA’s help Unit and Program Leaders and lead some activities. Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm Campers, Program Aides and PAITs will be assigned to a bus stop in Corvallis or Philomath where girls will check in and wait for the bus to take them to camp.
Girls entering Grades 4-12 will spend Thursday night at camp, experiencing special campfire and night activities. Detailed information about the Overnight and required permission slip available here.
